Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus classes
Our teachers are qualified and registered with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), and we teach the RAD syllabus offering examination classes from Pre-primary up to Senior Vocational levels.
The RAD Graded Syllabus consists of Pre-primary, Primary and Grades 1-8, with each grade incorporating classical ballet, free movement and character dance.
The Vocational Graded Syllabus consists of Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2 and Solo Seal and is designed primarily
for older children or young adults who considering a career in professional dance, as a performer, teacher or in another capacity. The vocational syllabus is technically demanding and comprises of Classical Ballet and Pointe Work.
We also offer "Discovering Repertoire" classes where students will learn and perform choreography from ballets such as Coppélia, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. Suitable for students from age 12 through to adult, the three levels cater for beginners, those with some prior ballet experience, as well as the more advanced dancer.
